Stichting Found is financially dependent on private donors, business partners and churches. Fundraising allows us to make an impact and transform women's lives, and therefore we welcome any donation or action organised for us.
For Stichting Found, clarity and transparency are central, and all donations go straight to the programs of Stichting Found (location, food, transport, workbooks, reports, local employees and trainers) and to the costs of travelling and visas to the DRC. During the three-day programs, women are fed and receive a small amount for transport to the program location. We often receive questions about why we do this. In Eastern Congo, many women and their usually large families live from their daily income. In many situations, one day without income means one day without food. We believe that women can receive and participate best in our program if they have no worries for themselves and their family.
