Hannie Alladee-Blatch van der Weerd
Founder and Program Developer
Hannie's journey began as a social worker in Amsterdam, where she worked with women facing some of the most challenging circumstances – including sex workers and refugees living in (forced) prostitution. Witnessing countless women transform from absolute hopelessness into lives full of hope stirred a deep mission within her: to walk alongside women as they discover their worth.
With specialised training in post-traumatic stress, Hannie combines psychological expertise with a strong spiritual foundation to bring lasting transformation. Driven by unwavering faith, she believes there is hope no matter the situation. She feels privileged and inspired to support women in rising above their circumstances and stepping into the dignity they were created for.
Rachel Mwasi
Program Assistant
Rachel brings a rich background as a primary school teacher, spiritual counsellor, and former program assistant with Heal Africa (NGO), where she focused on women's empowerment. But her deepest commitment to this work was forged through her own personal story.
Rachel lost her sense of self-worth and felt utterly abandoned. This journey through emotional trauma compelled her to turn her own deep wounds into a source of healing for others. "I realise that the power in teaching about trauma comes from our own suffering," she shares. "True compassion is built through a personal experience of pain – a foundation God builds within us so that we may carry others and truly feel their wounds."
Having walked the path from hopelessness to hope herself, Rachel now serves as an expert by experience, dedicating herself to the healing of women in our programs. She has witnessed firsthand how broken lives are transformed, seeing women transition from despair to ambitious vision and positive spirit.
Guided by the conviction that her work is a divine mission, Rachel believes that a woman's recovery leads to the restoration of her entire family and community. She is profoundly dedicated to empowering vulnerable women to rediscover their dignity in Christ and reclaim their future, just as she has.
